A gorgeous winter sunset here around Hovinsholmen, the holy islet on freezing Lake Mjosa around Helgoya island.
The sandbank works like a level gauge, revealing different water levels from the other seasons, when the lake holds more water than during wintertime.
Here a SW view across lake Mjøsa from the islet Hovinsholmen, towards Toten and the Skreia hills in the far.
Also note the fox tracks in the lower left corner.
