Somewhere in New Zealand an elderly person who’s underweight is getting this for lunch. It’s a butter sandwich,(she asked for filling) (the fridge and-cupboards actually hold some delicious fillings and sauces pickles) although she has been shown a step by step process on how to make a club sandwich. (The crusts are still on) That’s 3 bits of bread with butter and different fillings. With the crusts cut off. Food helps healing from injury she ate one quarter of this unless she fed it to her dog. If you have an elderly person being helped by “support” workers please check to see they are not being slowly starved to death. One hour allocated less than 10 minutes done with almost 0 effort. Who offers this to an underweight human being I couldn’t imagine serving this to anyone I’d feel like a stingy creep. No encouragement to eat or suggestions that food will make you feel some energy or feel a little better. We feed wild animals better than this. Work all your life and have your taxes given away for practically nothing in return. Kind of scared of getting old and the care and treatment that is expected is a f ing joke. I super appreciate the carers that actually have warmth and care towards another human being. I feel sad for the older people who this is happening to with no one to come and put something more nutritious together and show that the person is cared for. It’s a nasty cruel world sometimes. The agency is really scraping the bottom of the barrel with some of their employees. Some people should not work with human beings it’s like some have never looked after a living thing in their life. Bring on better care for our elders.
