Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Monona County Iowa while I was out and about looking for images to capture.

Time

It was later on in the afternoons when I spotted these bales of hay with trees and lovely clouds in the background.

Lighting

It was very sunny that day so lighting was a bit of a challenge.

Equipment

I captured this image with my Canon T6i and 18-55 mm landscape lens.

Inspiration

I've always loved the look of round bales. They remind me of the cereal "Shredded Wheat."

Editing

This photo required a little processing because it was quite sunny. I lowered the highlights and brought up the shadows a tad.

In my camera bag

When out capturing images I always have my Canon T6i, landscape lens and my 75-300 mm lens. I always carry 2 extra batteries.

Feedback

My advice to beginners, look around you, use your imagination, don't be afraid to experiment and have fun!
