Took this photo while on a relaxing retreat at a Place we go to for fun and relaxing and we were upgraded to a very fancy suite for this stay !!! The dark lighting around the rest of the bathroom made the tub scene seem so alluring and relaxing for the Moment with the golden lights at the foot of the tub and then the background lighting coming in from the windows of our room to add the bluish highlights that is said "Take a Picture"Time
It was towards the evening time so the sun was not directly coming into our room and it was more evening colors to the sky coming in.Lighting
Had to make sure my shadow did not also cast into the photo as I was in the doorway frame but got it to workEquipment
I used my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra in pro manual mode... iso 640, f 2.2, at 1/30 sec. These new Cell phones cameras are making a run for great camera shots at a moments notice vs having to run an get your camera if it's not right there with you!!!Inspiration
It was just a great "Moment of Serenity" and I'm always looking for unique shots to take that capture some essence and not just a willy nilly photo. Sometimes you have to create the shot or it just happens along and you get a chance to capture it!!!Editing
Just made sure the colors stood out as I saw them so very little processing.In my camera bag
I have 2 Sony Cameras of the Alpha 7 line, several type of lenses to use for distance and Macro though I usually only use my 240 zoom lens for both. I also have 2 cell phones, one old one and thee newer Samsung S23 Ultra, along with spare power sources and various cloths to aid in possible background shots.Feedback
Just go with the Moment, it can be staged but that can take lots of extra work. This was simple and easy, right place and right "Moment" !!!
