The photo was taken in my home, I have a little corner that I photography in. I try to take a photo a day and have learned a lot from it over the last 5 years.Time
I love this image the simplicity of it I took this image mid afternoon, I used a black board as my backdrop and a piece of black plexi for the floor and a prime light off to the side for dramatic light.Lighting
I like moody and dark and usually shoot for black and white but decided to do a muted dark still life images with vegetables this day.Equipment
I shoot mostly with a Canon EOS r5, Canon rf 24-70mm 2.8, Flashmate lightInspiration
I was going for that moody old world looking still life, I'm inspired by still-life paintingsEditing
most of my post processing was done in Lightroom I usually use a preset and then do my own tweaking from there adding contrast, light and darkenIn my camera bag
my most used equipment would be my Canon rf 24-70 2.8 for me its a great all around everyday well rounded lens.Feedback
advice would be to shoot every day and use one lens for a good 3 months to figure out exactly what its capable of, practice with light use natural window light as well as flash, use reflective surfaces to help with lighting. Just have fun.
