Late flowering monkshood.
At the beginning of autumn, many perennials have already finished flowering, but there are still some beautiful late bloomers. Very striking are the flowers of the Monkshood (Aconitum carmichaelii), an extra late bloomer within this genus. The beautiful clear violet-blue flowers are in a compact, spike-shaped inflorescence and, depending on the weather, only appear at the end of September. The height is about 100-125 cm.
