Behind The Lens

Location

After working the whole day, my friends and I sat in the dining room. And I looked to my right and I could see the colors forming. I got up and ran upstairs to grab my camera. Everyone thought I had food poisoning. I ran outside, and since it rained everything was muddy. So I went in the mud to get this shot. Unforgettable day.

Time

At sunset, as we were having dinner.

Lighting

The lighting was perfect on this day. The shadow of the trees made for the perfect contrast.

Equipment

I used the Sony A6000 with the kit lens (16-50mm). It's really lightweight and good for travel.

Inspiration

I am in love with colors in nature. That is my motivation in photography as well to capture the colours nature shows us.

Editing

This is almost unedited. I just had to adjust the dark colors in the photo to bring out the natural vibrant sunset colors.

In my camera bag

I always have extra batteries... that is a must. And a small tripod. I use my prime lens, but I also always carry a wide zoom lens.
