I was taking a walk early one morning in a nearby forest when off the pathway I noticed this Marsh Harrier quietly perched on a branch. I clambered through the undergrowth thinking it would take flight as soon as I got closer, but it just stayed there watching me over his shoulder as I got nearer. The light was bad, so I though I may miss the opportunity to get anything worth saving, but I managed to get this capture, which I was pleased with and hope you enjoy as much as I enjoyed the encounter.
