I managed to get this without a tripod.

Shrimp boat heading into lake Pontchartrain from the Rigolets.

Built in 1745 on the old "Military Road" across Kinglass Water, Argyll, Scotland.

In the evening close to 6:30 pm

Lighting

The light was just about to disappear.

Equipment

I set the tripod up behind us. I used a Nikon D 7100 camera with a Nikon 17-200 mm lens.

Inspiration

I wondered what we looked like as my wife and I silently watched the day close.

Editing

I used lightroom 6 to sharpen the image and adjust the colors.

In my camera bag

Nikon 55 mm lens, neutral density filters, polarizing filter.
