Abstract Fine Art nature photography. This is the first offering of my Summer Nature photography project for 2023 which I have named, 'Summer Distilled', and was inspired by some of the photography I had taken near the end of Spring were I seemed to be happiest concentrating on focusing in on the purest and simplest images of the flora and fauna we associate with the season whilst trying to incorporate an unique or otherwordly perspective to the beauty i was observing , even in the more overlooked or simplest things. Fields of Gold is a macro landscape , whereby the image uses macro techniques and a close up on one blade of wheat grass but without losing the feeling of being within the landscape itself which can often occur when stripping down macro compositions to their closest forms. the field , is just behind my house and the image was achieved by lying in the diverts between the crop and taking the shot with the lens tilted while laying on my back , an action which the farmer, whom is also a friend , found most amusing to watch.
