Shortly after this peaceful picture of our beautiful backyard koi pond and garden was taken, then came the great blue heron and the raccoons which made sushi out of our fish. Within a week, all the colorful fish were history. And after we sold our house and moved to Florida, the new owners bulldozed the garden replaced it with grass. Thankfully, we enjoyed the garden, waterfalls and koi pond for many years before these sad events took place.
