Deniz Öncü from Turkey, on a KTM, who had the satisfaction of winning his first ever Moto 3 race today at the 2023 German Grand Prix, at Sachsenring. He had previously had 7 podium results, but never a race win. This image was taken during the practice session two days ago on Friday, when the second Moto 3 practice session took place on a wet track immediately after a cloudburst (which was fortunately quite short). I had decided to take a quick trip up from Munich to be able to take some personal photos of the MotoGP action, also for the first time ever. So I celebrated the opportunity by taking more than 1,400 photos!! (Quite a day - left home at 03:30 to get a 04:12 train from Munich, and eventually arrived back home just before 01:30 on Saturday morning!)
