Wildlife landscape photography. If you have ever thought that they place that you lived was a little too dangerous , well , you seen nothing until you have lived the precarious life of a nesting Razorbill colony. In this image a Razorbill adult and a number of less nimbly footed chicks are seen perching and waddling around their summer home on the cliff strata of Holyhead Mountain in view of South Stack Lighthouse. A life literally living on the edge. Taken from the steps that head towards the lighthouse looking up towards the cliff face with my nikkor 70-300mm lens because it was just too windy to try and get my telephoto out of the bag... unless i had wanted to watch it topple into the sea!
