Catskill farms come back to life in the Spring

It is Blackberry season in the Catskills.

I saw this bright orange flower in my meadow, looked it up in my Wildflower book and saw it is called Butterfly-Weed. I went back with my camera and a

Unusual color for this wildflower

She is a sable colored sheltie with a wonderful personality, sensitive, loyal, gentle just like you can see in the photo.

The tiny Apple Blossom opens to reveal a complex structure. It is little wonder that they turn into delicious fruit.

The Bee is obviously attracted to a different type of Goldenrod which grows alongside its flowing cousins.
