This is the St. George Temple located in St. George, Utah. It belongs to the LDS church. This temple has been the most obvious landmark in St. George for a long time. It's located in the middle of downtown, although far enough off the main streets that I still haven't seen it up close. There are many LDS churches scattered about the city, but the temple is for special LDS-only functions.
The LDS church recently built a second temple here. It's tan in color and across town. I'll have to spend more time in town taking photos. St. George is growing like crazy.
