I took a drive into the main canyon at Zion National Park. Most of the year we have to take a shuttle to visit the main canyon, but the shuttles weren't running at this time so I was free to stop where I wanted and explore on my own -- my favorite thing.

I saw this view over my shoulder after getting back into the car and took a quick shot with my Samsung phone. It was getting dark and I hadn't yet reached my destination, so I was feeling rushed. Sometimes I forget how early darkness settles in the canyon. Turns out, this ended up being one of the shots I liked the most, even considering it was only shot with a cell phone camera, with my body uncomfortably twisted around looking back and out the window.
