I released my first song "Confetti" by Remi. (my stagename) It's on streaming platforms. www.remiartist.com I had a self timer and when it was close to the last beep, my daughter threw confetti over a fan so it would blow over my feet.

Behind The Lens
Location
This photo was taken in my small, portrait studio. The wall behind me was actually built by my husband.Time
It was in the middle of the day, but that didn't really matter because I used studio strobes.Lighting
I used a two light set-up. One 800w alien bee camera left as the key light. A parabolic umbrella was attached to the light unit. Then behind the photographer was a 400w alien bee with a reflector attachment, acting as a fill light. I wanted there to be an even spread of lighting for a fun, bright image.Equipment
Studio Strobes were alien bees Camera was a Canon 5DMarkIII Lens was a Canon 24-70mmInspiration
I always wanted to create a song, and I finally did this year! In order to create an album cover for the single, I knew that I wanted it to reflect the song's lyrics, "Confetti". So, I wore sparkly heels, had confetti throwing in the air, and wore green pants to color harmonize along with the pink wall. If you want to check out my song it's free on spotify and available for purchase on other streaming sites like Amazon music, apple music, itunes, and more. You can be directly linked from my website www.remiartist.com and see the other photos I took that same day.Editing
Yes! I used Photoshop from Adobe Creative Cloud. I did a few adjustments with curves, and changed the background color from blue to pink.In my camera bag
Canon lenses, some canon prime lenses, my camera, extra batteries, lens filters, flash triggers and receivers. Just your typical stuff.Feedback
Prop up a small fan blowing up towards you, to really enhance the confetti effect floating in the air. Even spread of lighting will help you capture the motion as well.
