Winged Victory monument. The iconic monument is a tribute to War hero W.S. Stephenson aka Man called Intrepid. It is said that his life stories inspired the creation of the James Bond books plus films or movies. The statue was moved to Deer Lodge Hospital, with a new base donated by the Intrepid Society in 2003. It is located on Portage Avenue in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
