I'm fortunate enough to have a back window which looks out to due West, and I make the most of this opportunity...this was one of those lucky unplanned shots - the geese were flying from the small lake where they spend their days, back to a larger lake where they pass the night. I must admit it wasn't obvious they were there when I took the photo, only showing up in post processing, but, all i all, I'm really pleased with this image, it's also by desktop image, so I look at it every day.Time

Just the look of the lowering sun, the illuminated clouds, how the sun was disappearing into the low cloud bank.....fabulousEditing
I mainly use Lightroom Classic to bring out colours and set levels, but I also have Photoshop if necessary, and a range of Topaz products to correct noise, sharpness etc. when needed. In my camera bag
Just the camera above, together with a selection of lenses, Olympus 75-300 zoom, Olympus 45mm f1.8 prime and Lumix 25mm f1.7 primeFeedback
If you se a fabulous sunset, take twenty or thirty shots at differing exposures and focal lengths, take loads of images.....you're never sure which will be the best
