The sun had gone down in Taupo but was still showing up on the mountains and southern end of the lake.Equipment
I used my Sony a7111 with a tamaron 150-600 lens it was on a tripod. The photo was taken on the 25th June 2020.Inspiration
I was looking for a photo showing the lake and the mountains of the Tongariro national park and Kaimanawa forest park. The sunset was a CNN bonus with the changing light on the mountains and the lakeEditing
I didn’t do any post processing apart from a bit of zoom to get the mountains a bit largerIn my camera bag
Always carry two cameras one being the Sony and also a canon 70d along with various different lens for both cameras. Now I have also added a Sony A71V to the mixtureFeedback
All I can say is keep visiting favourite sites and keep taking photos and eventually you’ll get that chance to take a fab shot that will impress others and show your talents as well
