A Fire Brigade band performing outside the fire engine garage. Impressive to see a band like this at a small town fire station. Seen in Pentling in southern Bavaria. Posted in memory of Pope Benedikt XVI, who passed away recently. This image was taken on the occasion of the newly appointed Pope's tour of Munich and his home area in Bavaria in 2006 - he was born close to Pentling - shortly after he became Pope. The Fire Brigade band performed as the Pope passed by on his tour.
