Behind The Lens
Location
I took this photo in Rockland Ontario a few days after a snowstorm.Time
I took this photo near sunset. I can't remember the exact time but it was about an hour from sunset. So the sun was quite low on the horizon.Lighting
Its all natural lighting in the picture. The sun was nicely diffused by the clouds so there was no hard shadows.Equipment
I actually did not have any photography equipment with me so I just took this picture with my phone. I like the tracks in the snow so I thought it was a good opportunity for a photo.Inspiration
Mostly the tracks in the snow and the hills of snow in the background. I thought it was a nice opportunity for a photo so I took it.Editing
As I mentionned this was taken on my phone so I simply adjusted the exposure a little bit with the built in sofware in my phone. In my camera bag
Normally, I'll have my camera, a sony a6400, my 16mm f1.4 sigma lens, my vintage Helios m42 58mm lens along with extra memory cards and batteries. I only started building my photography kit a few months ago so I don't have much equipment but I am looking forward to buying new equipment soon!Feedback
For this picture I was trying to use the tracks in the snow as leading lines. I would of captured a better image if I had my camera with me but I am still satisfied with the results from my phone. So I would say to look for leading lines that can help direct the eyes to the subject.
