In Albuquerque, we welcome any snow we get. Most of the snow is blocked by the mountains on the east edge of the city, which rise to two miles above sea level. Plenty of snow there for skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing, but rare in the city itself. Feb 22, 2022. The 14-gallon glass demijohn is from my wine-making days. I kept one for its lovely green color. On the far left is a giant pot of claret cup cacti.
