The photo was taken in my house, in Buenos Aires, during the quarantine period by COVID-19. To spend those days forced to stay locked up, we entertained ourselves with my girlfriend playing and taking pics. The composition was always the same: a dress hanging on a clothesline, but originally the idea was for her to be the one behind it. However, when we were taking the photos, I showed her how I wanted her to pose, and shooting me out as well. That's when I noticed that in addition to being a less orthodox composition, it also said much more.Time
Between 4 or 5 o'clock in the afternoon.Lighting
I decided to take the photo at a time when the light is not harsh enough and does not color the image as much with the orange color of the golden hour, so in autumn, around 5 in the afternoon there is a very good light.Equipment
This was shot on a Canon 5D Mark III, with a 24-70mm f/2.8 lens and a tripod.Inspiration
I was motivated to take this photo by boredom and that the world and genres must be increasingly deconstructed. Probably the first reaction of someone who sees this photo is to laugh, because he sees a man in a dress. Maybe it's because it looks ridiculous for someone, but the important thing here is to let yourself be, regardless of gender.Editing
I always do post-processing of my pictures. I consider that all parts of the process are important, since how you set up the camera values when you shoot, to the digital treatment with the RAW files. I like to give the last touch to the pic by doing color correction, and correcting details that make prettier what it was already pretty. Personally, I love working with sharpness, shadows, contrasts, gradients, and warm and vibrant colors in my pics.In my camera bag
I have varied equipment. As a travel photographer, I always try to cover all the focal range, from wide to telephoto, to be able to work at any distance. I have a Canon 5D Mark III body and I use a Canon 24-70mm f/2.8ii lens and a Canon 16-35mm f/2.8ii for portraits, landscapes and architecture, and a Canon 70-300mm f/4-5.6 lens for wildlife, to be there when I'm not close enough and get a great shot. Nowadays, having a drone is a plus to have a different point of view, so I have a DJI AIR 2S for aerial shots. Finally, to be an all-terrain photographer, I have a GO PRO Hero 7. Up to this point, this are my essentials. In other hand, I like to experiment with other kind of photography like macro, for which I use a macrotubes with a Canon 50mm f/1.8 prime lens.Feedback
Take advantage of time, not fall asleep. If the world is putting us in a position where it doesn't let us do normal life, try to be creative with the things we have at home, watch tutorials from those who know the most, and learn new tricks to translate into our own ideas.
