Trim Castle in Trim, County Meath, Ireland is one of Ireland's largest Anglo-Norman Castles. It was built in 1173 (actually taking 30 years to complete) along the Boyne River. While being the centre of the town of Trim the Castle was also the centrepiece of the movie Braveheart that was filmed on the site.
