Location

The image was take in Liverpool, England at a Love Thy Neighbour venue.

Lighting

I used the lighting from the sign behind the subject to help illuminate and cast shadows in what I thought was an interesting way.

Equipment

I caught this image using my Canon 80D paired with the 24-70 L lens at f/2.8. No additional equipment was used.

Inspiration

I wanted to practice taking some new shots that I didn’t have much experience in. One of my friends expressed interest in helping, who is the subject of this particular picture and we went from there.

Editing

My approach to post-processing was mainly to correct exposure.

Feedback

I tried to expose more for the highlights in the light behind the subject as not to blow them out, which later required brightening the subject in post.
