My wife and I were waiting on the sunset on Hawaii's famous North Shore when I took this. I had been on the island a few times before and never took the time to go here. I found out why it is called Sunset Beach.Time
Obviously in the evening as to what the clock would say I have know ideal, if I would guess around 7 or 8 Hawaii's time is 7 hours ahead of us now.Lighting
It was perfect. I could not have ask for better, the clouds not only added color they defused the sun also.Equipment
I shot this image with my Canon 5d mark 4, with my 16/35 lens. I also had my manfroto tripod. I love landscape photos so this is my setup for almost all I shot. I also use a remote control so I do not have any movement when I take the pictures.Inspiration
Like I said earlier I found out why this is called Sunset beach. I can't wait to go back and see how I could make an even better shot.Editing
Really just add a little color and that was it. The Good Lord took care of the rest.In my camera bag
Canon 5d mark4, also a 7d mark2 a 16/35 lens, 24/70 lens, 70/200 lens, also manfrotto tripod.Feedback
The only thing I could say is this with landscape photography keep going back because the seen will change with every cloud and of course the lighting also. I have been in Hawaii 5 different times so far in my life I have been to one place 5 times and on the 4th. trip I could not even get out of the car it was raining so hard after a 5 hour round trip. But on the 5 trip I took some of the most beautiful photos of Rainbow falls. Never give up trying to get the best shot.
