Behind The Lens
Location
The photo was taken in my rose garden beside my house. It had grown over the eaves, and heading to the sky. It was about 3 feet above it.Time
It was taken in early evening, after I watered all my roses. Cloudy day, perfect backdrop for the rose.Lighting
As much as I enjoyed taking the photo it was needing a little editing just to make it pop. So I converted to black and white, and than added back the colorful rose. Perfect compliment to each other.Equipment

I had been battling 2 brain surgeries and had just started taking photos again and really enjoying it again. The rose bush had been dug up the year before due to mold. I thought it was dead. But there was a little life in it, once it grew it was trying to reach heaven. After this season, it did die and was removed. It never came back. So that's why I named it, Never Give Up.Editing

My bag is simple, camera, lenses, cleaner, cloths, batteries, and cards. All tucked into my backpack.Feedback
