This photo was taken at the Purcell Lake in Oklahoma, on a very foggy mid morning.Time
Mid morning was the perfect time to venture out on this foggy morning. I drove over 3 miles hardly able to see 10 feet ahead of my jeep. But I made it, and loved the foggy effects it in turn made.Lighting
The lighting, or lack of was perfect, the only editing I did was crop and save! How easy, reminded me of the old days, what you see is what you got on film.Equipment
I forgot my tripod, I was in such a rush to get out the door, so my jeep hood became my tripod. My camera is a Canon Rebel T1i, oldie but such a goodie. I refuse to upgrade, my passion is with my T1i.Inspiration
I love natural lighting, so when I woke up to not being able to see my back yard, I knew I had to get out and fight the morning traffic to get to a spot I dearly love, The Purcell Lake in Purcell Oklahoma.Editing
Simple answer, it didn't need it, cropped a little and saved. I love these kinds of shots. In my camera bag
I am a older photographer, I still love old cameras with film and slides. But my backpack always Canon T1i, two lenses with shades, batteries, and lens cleaner. Minimalist I would rather take a picture of what God has created, then try to beautify what he has created.Feedback
The Oklahoma weather is a challenge due to extreme heat. First and foremost, know your camera, now try to push your limits with it. The beauty is in the eye of the beholder, if you don't like the shot move, adjust, do something, try to make it so you are happy with it. If you don't look at your photo and smile, don't expect anyone else to. Be proud of your work!!
