Location
This photo was taken in Quebec city, Quebec, Canada. Definitely a beautiful place to visit.Time
This photo was taken around 8pm on a tour bus around Quebec city. I remember turning around and seeing the building and thinking there's the shot, and took the picture.Lighting
It was quite dark and being that I was on a moving bus meant that I had to take the photo quickly but at the same time slow enough to allow for good exposure. It was a little tricky at the time but, was pleased with the capture.Equipment
I shot on a T5i Canon, I believe I had my 18-200mm attached at the time. No flash or tripod was used taking this picture.Inspiration
It was just such a beautiful building, something that looked out of a fairy tale movie. I knew I wanted to capture the sight but sometimes what you see in your head isn't always what you end up with but in this case, I was pleased with it.Editing
Yes, I definitely did some post editing of this picture. In Adobe Lightroom I brought up a bit of shadows, exposure, a bit a saturation, some sharpening and cropping. In my camera bag
In my camera bag, I usually carry a flash, extra batteries, a polarizer, a fixed 55mm lens.Feedback
Try visiting Quebec city, Quebec when you can lots of great places to capture some beautiful pictures. Also, I'd say try and set up your camera in the right setting to take your picture before hand. If not, try to under expose just a little bit, not much because in post production you can always lighten up a shot but not so much the other way around. For over exposed pictures.
