Location

This photo has been taken in Main beach, Gold Coast, Australia.

Time

It is actually midday, but we used the high sync technique for flash photography.

Lighting

The flash should be powerful enough to overpower the sunlight, and the wind on the beach makes everything difficult. Having some assistants helps.

Equipment

Nikon D810 with Tamron 70-200 f2.8 G2 series, elinchrom 400 flash set, and reflectors.

Inspiration

As the world starts winter, Australia starts hot summer and it's always good to have the swimwear season here.

Editing

Yes, I start colour correction, lens correction and some tweaks and white balance in lightroom, then edit the photos in photoshop cc.

In my camera bag

Camera body and cleaning brushes, two lenses, tele and wide, plus flash triggers and extra battery, memory cards and a reflector.

Feedback

Work with model, walk around them and take various photos, always use help to carry equipment, block the sunlight using white sheet of reflector pack, and learn high sync photography to create different light and look.
