Location

This image was taken at the wreck of the Janie Seddon in Motueka, New Zealand.

Time

This was taken not long after sunset, about 7:30pm

Lighting

Well, the ship is half lit up by a streetlamp on the shore, which isn't ideal. The rest is starlight, and the light pollution from Nelson city.

Equipment

I used a Canon 6D and Samyang 24mm ƒ1.4 lens.

Inspiration

I've been wanting to shoot this wreck for a long time, so it's great to be able to get out there and finally capture it under the stars.

Editing

I use Lightroom for my base editing, then Photoshop to adjust the contrast of the sky.
