Location
This photo was taken along the Bradford creek, which is at the back of our farm in Shelbourne, Victoria, Australia. I frequently walk here with my dogs and occasionally bring my camera as well.Time
This was one of those magical days were the fog hung in the air almost until midday. I left the dogs at home and just went for a walk with my camera.Lighting
The sun shinning through the fog gave everything a magical feel. The lighting was perfect to really highlight the amazing colours of the bark of the gum trees. the foreground of the photo is bright and crisp and the fog gave the background a completely different feel.Equipment
The photo was taken with my Canon 80D with no other equipment.Inspiration
I love the Aussie bush and enjoy walking and horse riding in it. Often I hear people say that our landscape is pretty boring or dull compared to other countries. I love taking pictures that shows how stunning and unique our bush can be.Editing
Minimal post production done on this photo. Only turned up the colour a little. In my camera bag
I am a complete beginner at photography so I really only have my camera. I am hoping to add a good "zoom' lens to start taking a few wildlife photos.Feedback
This photo was all about getting the right weather conditions and being prepared to take advantage of the opportunity when it occurs. A fog that hangs around long enough for the sn to shine through a little gives you a great colors and a magical, misty feel to the photos.
