Location

the idea of creation was born after viewing of movies of Ian Bertrán. Upon, we have tried to display risk of disappearance of a rare species of sea inhabitants. The picture is taken in studio, Kostroma, Russia.

Time

the photo is made 6/15/2016 years, evening.

Lighting

as studio light I use mobile flashes of YN 560 II, softbox 60?60 and oktagonalny softbox with a diameter of 70 cm.

as studio light I use mobile flashouts of YN 560 II, softbox 60x60 and oktagonalny softbox with a diameter of 70 cm at me two cameras, Canon 550D, Canon 7D, and two lenses: Canon 50mm 1.8 II and Canon 24-105 4L. I do all the pictures on this equipment.

Inspiration

I like to work with the makeup artist. The subject a face art is infinite. And through her it is possible to inform the viewer of the most usual questions, but in the most unusual way. Here will always be about what to think. in this case we have chosen a subject of risk of disappearance of a rare species. On creation of this shot viewing of the movie Yann Arthus-Bertrand "Planet Ocean" has pushed.

Editing

post-processing in this case was simple. The transfer from the RAW format in the LR program. And a small retouch by means of frequency decomposition in PH.

In my camera bag

Canon 550D, Canon 7D, and two lenses: Canon 50mm 1.8 II and Canon 24-105 4L. I do all the pictures on this equipment.

Feedback

Frankly speaking, it is difficult to give some concrete advice. I was lucky to cooperate with the excellent makeup artist. It is her merit. I only set a subject and I watch how it embodies it. After that I need to sum up the general idea a good picture. It is important to pick up model correctly. And then work becomes command where all are aimed at good result.
