Behind The Lens

Location
The picture is taken in my photographic studio in the city of Kostroma, Russia.
Time
The picture is taken in 2016. May 22. At 21:13.
Lighting
as studio light I use mobile flashes of YN 560 II, softbox 60x60 and oktagonalny softbox with a diameter of 70 cm.

Inspiration
It is story about human defects. The photo is called "guide". It seems, you know names of all stones. But I for you have something special. Be not frightened the approaching darkness and follow me... Oh, as your eyes shine! You weren't mistaken, my friend! Bury! This stone grants you the boundless power! Do you feel in yourself its force?! Over time you will learn to control it! But now don't stop, I want to spend you further... Also don't pay attention to the amplifying darkness.... Peer! It here! All oofs of the world - anything, in comparison with this stone. Be more careful because each touch of your palm with it will bring so many jewelry how many you will wish. And take your time! You will have enough time. I want to show you that it is hidden in the Most black haze. Yes, it what you dreamed always of. The touch to the stone which is concealed in that place will prolong your life indefinitely. But a billeting where you so run. Do you hear me? I absolutely forgot to tell that after an occurring with it, as well as I, you any more will never get out of this darkness! Editing
post-processing in this case was simple. The transfer from the RAW format in the LR program. And a small retouch by means of frequency decomposition in PH.

Canon 550D, Canon 7D, and two lenses: Canon 50mm 1.8 II and Canon 24-105 4L. I do all the pictures on this equipment.
Feedback
Frankly speaking, it is difficult to give some concrete advice. I was lucky to cooperate with the excellent makeup artist. It is her merit. I only set a subject and I watch how it embodies it. After that I need to sum up the general idea a good picture. It is important to pick up model correctly. And then work becomes command where all are aimed at good result.
