Location
The photo was taken in Toronto, Canada. It is The Gooderham Building, also known as the Flatiron Building. It was captured in winter after snowfall.Time
I took this photo afternoon, while walking around downtown in Toronto in winter. Thanks god, there were many coffee-shops around, so I survived the weather!Lighting
It was a cloudy day and lighting was soft.Equipment
I used a Nikon camera without tripod.Inspiration
I like photographing the city under unusual conditions. In this case I wanted to show warm color of the old building and a cold white snow. This gives me a feeling of hospitality and comfort that city provides to people.Editing
I played with colors to emphasize a warm color of the building. In my camera bag
I like to walk and I try to minimize the weight of my equipment. I usually have only a camera with one or two lenses.Feedback
My main advice is always be ready to something interesting. The camera should always be at hand.
