Taken vertically against the reflective side of the hotel we were staying in. It made me feel quite queasy, but I think the shot made it worth while.

I know its a bit out of focus, but I think the movement brings it alive.

So this is actually a child's rope swing (often found next to river's). The knot is just big enough to get you foot in and was only about 3

St Michael's Mount, near Marazion, Cornwall is cut off by the tide twice a day. It is a true fairy tale castle.

Location

It was taken in the pool of the Riu Toureg, on the island of Cape verde (Boa Vista)

Time

Taken roughly around 3pm

Lighting

It was bright sunshine and blue sky....but we were underwater so it did not count...

Equipment

Olympus TG-2

Inspiration

We were actually trying to take an updated, version of Nirvana's "Nevermind" album (the one with the baby underwater) which we did great, but this was taken in-between shots, whilst I was waiting for my friend to get back to position. To be honest....it was a fluke.

Editing

The camera has a dramatic effect, this was used on the actual shot, then it was enhanced with saturation and contrast.

Too much stuff that I generally don't need.
