Location
This photo was taken at a local hometown High School football game.Time
This photo was taken during a playoff game, in the early afternoon during the fall season.Lighting
Lighting was almost the "golden hour" early evening. Clear sky, sun almost about to set.Equipment
Use Nikon D5200, no tripod, Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8 lens.Inspiration
Love the passion of High School football, the players and the fans...such a exciting time and experience, especially during the state playoffs. These players give their all to the sport, and to each other, making it something wonderful to capture in a photo.Editing
I turned this into Black & White to capture the 'feeling' around running on the field, getting ready to play, and the Love of the team with the 'Number One' from the player in the way onto the field. Also enhanced the foggy look in the background. In my camera bag
I normally have my Nikon D5200, Nikon D5600, and several lenses and my flash in my camera bag. Never know when you're going to need to grab a piece of equipment..best to have a variety with you.Feedback
Always look for the passion when shooting sports and/or players. Don't just capture the person/player, always strive to capture the drive and the energy and the true love and emotion they have for the sport.
