This picture was taking in an old barn in the country in the Midwest.Time

All natural light, which was tricky as we had to take the photos at the right time so the sun was shining into the barn just right.Equipment

Kids do the funniest things...when you tell them to smile, they frown - and sometimes make silly faces in between. And sometimes their cheeks hurt from smiling too much...so this was an attempt to make the cheeks not hurt anymore, a little "mid-snap face workout".Editing
A little, wanted to give it a rustic feel since we were in a barn, it captured the 'Mood' better to mute the colors a little.In my camera bag

Tell kids to do a "face workout"....you never know what exercises they'll do, and it can make for some great & silly candids.
