Location
This photo was taken in Ndumo, a small South African game reserve in Kwazulu natal.Time
This photo was taken at sun set, in the Camp where we where staying that night.Lighting
The lighting of this photo is natural, and the photo was not edited at all. The sunset created the perfect lighting to capture the flower.Equipment
I used a Canon EOS 650D with a 60mm Canon macro lens.Inspiration
It was a beautiful moment; the sun dipping down below the horizon. I believe that all beautiful moment should be captured. I wanted to do something unique that night, so I captured the flower with the sun behind it.Editing
No.In my camera bag
In my bag I have my Canon EOS 650D camera; a 60mm macro lens, a 18-200mm lens and a 70-300mm lens.Feedback
When you want to capture something, you have to ask yourself: What is right about this picture/ what is beautiful, and what part of what I am seeing do I want other people to see. Then just take as many photos as possible of the subject and experiment with different angles and settings until you get That shot.
