I Took this photo in my local park in Hull, East Yorkshire, England. I'm no professional, just a 'happy snapper''. Wherever I go I always take my old Panasonic digital camera, DMC-5S8. I love to use my camera to snap what I see through my own eyes, to capture that amazing moment, so I can make it a special memory foreverTime
It was a bout 4pm on a cold January and when a snow storm blew in, it was about -2. I went out for a walk to the park, I remember the snow was crisp and only I had the pleasure of leaving the first footprints.Lighting
The light was quite dull as the winter daylight is short in January, but the snow seemed to make everything much brighter, I didn't use a flash, as I wanted to show the light of the settling snow and the dark of the tree branchesEquipment
A Panasonic DMC-5S8 digital camera. only used my steady right hand, I don't own a tripod, and my old woolly fingerless gloves, to keep my hands warm on such a bitter day in East YorkshireInspiration
I was inspired by the twisting winding road that seems to disappear into the distance. Its an old entrance to the park which is no longer in use, and leads to an overgrown playing field. It is a beautiful spot to me, it changes with the seasons, different colours, and foliage but is always framed at the edges by gorgeous trees. I have nicknamed this place ''road to nowhere''.Editing

If your trying to capture something similar to my shot. Wrap up warm and get out there, look at things that you have never looked at before, you will be surprised at what you see, take lots of photos at different angles and heights. You might take a million average snaps but it only takes one really great photo to capture that amazing moment !!!!!!!
