Location
This photo was shot in Taichung City, Taiwan during my winter holidays.Time
It was in the afternoon while I were cycling around the outskirt, and were attracted by the Sakura mass plantation.Lighting
As a nature photographer, we always wanted the picture looks attractive and bright. Therefore, I decided to use the natural light instead of artificial light liked flash in order to achieved this result.Equipment
Canon 1100D, Canon EF-S 18-55mmInspiration
When I were cycling around Taichung City, I were attracted by a mass plantation of sakura. They were both in pink and white, I were amused and got attracted to cycle into the plantation to enjoy the amazing sakura land.Editing
Basically, every photos captured using this camera have to do some light post-processing due to low quality of images. I shot this in RAW file, and edit it in Adobe Lightroom, and convert it into JPEG file. I would really suggest everyone to shoot in RAW.In my camera bag
I normally have Canon 5D Mark II, EF 17-40mm f/4L, EF 70-200mm f/2.8L II, a shutter release, and a tripod.Feedback
If we want to take some great pictures some macro world, we must at least have a macro lens. I have a Canon 100mm f/2.8L, the photos are superb, extra fine. I am actually someone who loves nature photography, especially macros. I would suggest you to bring a reflective board or maybe the sun wiser for the car, the best is silver plated because it can reflect the sunlight to your object perfectly without using any artificially light. Remember, try not to use any flashgun, it will not looks natural, trust me.
