A Hen Mallard getting ready to land with her flock. When Identifying Mallard Ducks, I always go by the color of the bill, females always have an orange and black colored bill, while the males will always have a yellow bill. Young drake mallards and eclipse plumage drake mallards can be identified by their yellow bills as well.
