The 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG), nicknamed The Boneyard, is an Aircraft and Missile storage & maintenance facility in Tucson, AZ, located on Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. AMARG takes care of more than 4,400 aircraft from all branches of the US Govt, which would make it the second largest air force in the world. --- Taken through a bus window. Seen here in this row is the Supersonic B-1 (BONE) Bomber. Only 100 B-1B Bombers were built and although some are currently here and in museums, they are also active duty at several bases around the world. The BONES are capable of 125,000 lbs of bombs-missiles, fly supersonic and have a operating ceiling of 60,000 ft.
