The photo was taken at 8:00 pm as the the sun was low in the sky.Lighting
I had the exposure compensation low to capture the darkness of the clouds and detail of the waterEquipment
I used a Sony A850 and a Sony Carl Zeiss 16-35mm f/2.8 Zoom Lens.Inspiration
I love to be outdoors and in nature, and this waterfall represents the power of the natural world .Editing
I just changed it to black and white and adjusted the contrast a bit.In my camera bag
I have my laptop an assortment of cords, a wide angle and telephoto lens. A extender lens and snack bars and water.Feedback
My advice would be to get outdoors, don't always go to the tourists heavy spots get out in the bush so to speak. Be patient in waiting for the right light and cloud position. And Leave your comfort zone at home.
