Location
This photo was taken in Saxon Switzerland, beautiful part of Germany, close to Czech-German border.Time
When sun was setting down over Shrammsteine rock formation, clouds created beautiful vista. I could not take my eyes of it and stayed long after dusk.Lighting
I did not use any special lightning .. all made by mother Nature :-)Equipment
Canon 550D, Tokina 11-16 PRO DX II, Induro AT214, remote releaseInspiration
I've heard many stories and seen plenty of photos from this area and this was my first photo visit here, together with my photo buddies. We all enjoyed just being there, photos we took were just added bonus.Editing
I used 2 bracketed shots for this photo as camera cannot obviously cope with the dynamic range of the scene. I am not "photoshop photographer" so I did not photoshoped anything in or out.In my camera bag
I usually take my f-stop backpack with my camera body Canon 550D and four lenses I own. They are Canon 17-55 F2.8 IS USM, Tamron 70-300 VC Di, Tokina 11-16 Pro DX II, Canon 100mm L F2.8 IS USM. There are only two filters I use, B+W CPL and Hoya NDx400. There are also remote release, spare batteries and some cleaning stuff. Mounted on the backpack is always my trusty Induro AT214 tripod with Induro BHL1 ball head.Feedback
I think key point for success is really spending time outside, enjoying it and having a camera :-) When I go out, even for a walk I take my camera into small backpack, sometimes without tripod and only 1 lens.
