Nestled back in the way back areas of Glacier National Park, located in Montana's Northernmost region, this can easily be missed and is only visible in one certain location.
Unfortunately, most of the glaciers are melting and quite quickly I might add. Two years ago when we were up there GNP was having record setting temperatures of 106 degrees in the lowland areas. Up standing next to one of them it was a balmy 76-78 degrees. Sadly, most of the areas which had running waterfalls or even the "Weeping Wall" this year were either non-existent or were at best trickles.
Photo was caught just prior to sundown starting up while there was still a good amount of light to capture all the foreground trees and the distant Jackson Glacier.

Ohhhhh... Glacier National Park is a MUST if you're going into the area. It's way up by Canada, but well worth the drive there and Going to the Sun road is just an absolute thrill to be on. There's only so many places to stop so getting pictures is sometimes tricky but it's still well worth the trip.

It's always a georgeous view up there. Go earlier in the year right after the plow gets all the way through. Sadly, we went late and most of the running waterfalls as well as weeping wall were either dry or barely a trickle in July/August. Mid June there should still be quite a bit of the snow pack up there making far more spectacular shows.

Once winter sets in Going to the Sun road is usually impassible. Usually takes a month or two for them to start at both ends plowing the road and meet in the middle to get it all cleared.

That is such an amazing capture. I bet even in B/W it will leave the viewers breathless. Outstanding
