Location

I took this picture in St. Cloud Minnesota at Munsinger Gardens Park.

Time

This photograph was taken at 3:00 on a very hot, sunny afternoon. I was so excited to go up there and when my husband and I got there only to find out that most of the flowers had already expired. I looked very hard to find a decent one to photograph. The forecast was sunny with a chance of showers. I waited all afternoon hoping it would rain. We just about left to go home and then the showers came so I could get this beautiful tulip picture with rain drops on it.

Lighting

Very sunny and strong lightning since it was mid afternoon.

Equipment

I photographed this tulip with my Cannon 50D Lens 250 mm ISO at 100 Shutter 1/5000 F5.6 Hand Held

Inspiration

My inspiration for this picture was the vivid colors and being able to get the rain coming down on it.

Editing

I only added a very slight saturation to it and that was all.

I carry a Cannon 50D Cannon 60D Lenses are 70-300mm., Macro Lens 100mm, 28-80 Wide Angle

Feedback

Pay attention to your background, lighting, use a wide open aperture like 1.8-5.6 and a higher shutter speed depending on your lighting.
