Location
It was take in Salzburg , France during a stopover on Rhine River CruiseTime
It was taken at about 10 am some time October as we were being conducted around. The water in the canal was quite calm and made for very clear reflections. I just slipped away from my co travelers and too my shot. The medieval architecture of this area was fascinating to behold.Lighting
This was subtle , clear natural lightEquipment
I used a Nikon D 700 and Tamron 16 - 300 lens. Hand held. No other accessories. It often helps to travel lights, so I seldom carry much else except perhaps a polaroid filter on these travel trips.Inspiration
Salzburg is a very beautiful city with very beautiful medieval architecture such as you do not see everywhere. Was in awe of what I saw and could not wait to whip out my camera to capture such a beautiful scene. If I ever have another opportunity to spend more time there, I would be in my glory. There is also some interesting history surrounding Salzburg.Editing
My photo was shot in RAW and processed simply in Lightroom with no special embellishments. In my camera bag
Presently, I carry in my bad : Nikon D850 and D700, AFS Nikkor 28-300mm 1:3.5-5.6G lens, AF Micro Nikkor 105 1:2.8 D Lens, Tamron 10- 24mm, Kenko polaroid filter, Hoya variable neutral density filter 0-10, Nikon Sb 800 speed light. But, I only carry these around for special group shooting.Feedback
You have to love traveling and the means to do so. There are many beautiful places in the world to see and enjoy. I always believe that "all things bright and beautiful, the lord God made them all" . If you have an interest in photography , just go for it.
