Behind The Lens

Location

This is our apartments bedroom, I usually take models home with my wife as an assistant and the models with their own company.

Time

It is mid afternoon, using natural window light.

Lighting

The light is soft natural light, and I also used curtains to control the amount of light on subject.

Equipment

Nikon D810 with Tamron 70-200 lens.

Inspiration

Boudoir has always been my dream style and I usually want to see the light and shadow on subject's body and create contrast.

Editing

I usually use lightroom, and photoshop to create the black and white, then dodge and burn.

In my camera bag

Nikon D810 with Tamron 70-200 for portraits.

Feedback

Use natural light, use the curtains and practice with flashlight or modelling light of flash to see how the light looks on body.
